how you can contact the Centralized Intake Office

Have you applied for a Permanent Residents Visa for Canada after the new ministerial instructions took place?

If you applied within February 28, 2008 until present then you probably sent your application to the Centralized intake office.

Whether you applied under the Citizenship Multicultural Immigration Canada's Ministerial Instruction 1 (MI1), Ministerial Instructions 2 (MI2) or Ministerial Instructions 3 (MI3) chances are your application was sent to the CIO. If you can not relate to the application titles, you can click on the individual link and it will lead you to the explanation of the Ministerial Instruction.

Do you want to check your application status but can not find the contact number of the CIO? Well the thing is they do not have one, but you can mail your inquiry to

CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:

you have not already applied under one of the above categories
you are not authorized to receive personal information
you applied within the last six weeks
your enquiry concerns a topic other than your case

You can also send them a letter:

Courier address
Centralized Intake Office
47-49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2
Canada

Write the program you are applying under on the outside of the envelope (federal skilled worker / FSW, provincial nominee / PN, Quebec-selected skilled worker / QSW, investor)

Sorry to say though that how you can contact the Centralized Intake Office is only by this means.
