Minister Kenney Hits the Reset Button: Sets the Foundation for New, Faster, More Flexible Immigration System  Read from the source.

The media release from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, states that effective July 1st, 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will postpone the processing on new applications to the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and Federal Immigrant Investor Program (IIP)

New applications will be accepted in January 2013 in time with the implementation of the new changes in the points system and other improvements in Canada's immigration program, instead of the original intention of releasing the new list of eligible occupations on July 1.

This is good news for those who are not yet ready! You have been given a new chance to get ready to apply, a breather if you will. Assess and evaluate this chance being given to you well, will you still let this slip it away your grasp?  Again?

This will buy applicants more time in getting good IELTS Exam result, documents preparation and credentials assessment.

For those who have tried to be ready for July 1, do not be sad it will give you time to focus your time on the changes that will come.
