THE NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM - NLPNP 

Allows a faster option to immigrate in Canada by nominating certain individuals that meet their provincially established criterias.

There are four access to be considered for this program.  

International Graduate 

If you graduated from an eligible publicly funded Canadian college or university, completed a minimum of a two-year diploma or degree program, Have a full-time job offer in your field of study, applied to the NLPNP within two years after receiving your degree, with valid work permit to work in Canada, an demonstrate sufficient English or French language capability then you can apply in this stream. 

Skilled Worker 

This stream are for those who has a full-time job offer from a Newfoundland and Labrador employer, working legally in Canada, Can demonstrate that you have sufficient settlement funds and financial resources to successfully settle in Newfoundland and Labrador, and meet English or French language requirement. 

Family connections 

PLEASE NOTE: The Family Connections category of the NLPNP is discontinued as of May 1, 2012. The Skilled Worker Category will be revised to accommodate some applications that would have previously been considered under the Family Connections Category. Any application received on or after May 1, 2012 will be returned. When the new criteria are available we invite you to re-apply. Please monitor the NLPNP website for an updates
